Vacation Close To Home

If you live within, what you call, a reasonable driving distance of the San Francisco Bay Area and there abouts then you can enjoy the beauty of the Yosemite National Park area. Pine Mountain Lake, white water rafting, children's day camps for horsemanship, swimming, golf, enjoy the snow and all that nature has to offer. This area is Nature on Steroids!

Usually fly to Southern California or Florida, or even Hawaii? ( I do admit everyone needs to see Hawaii ONCE!)

Travel with children and you vow never to do it again. After all, the local rec center is down the street because of your tax dollars, right? Send them down the street to play. Save some mega bucks. All they do is play Nintendo Wii and kick dirt clods and whine "I'm Bored". www.pinemountainlakerealestatevacationhome.com

But that's not how we really think during the Vacation Bug season is it? We all have the need to pack up and go. Show the kids some telephone poles at 60. Get them out of the City and into good old Mother Nature. Pull over and see 2 headed snakes and giant balls of string. Take pictures and make memories before it's too late. It's in all of us.

But with gas prices the way they are families are rethinking the trip mileage. Can you imagine how many things you have not seen within a 200 mile radius of your town? Try something. Google local sites and activities in and around your town. Pretend you're a "out of towner". You will be amazed.

Take, Pine Mountain Lake for instance. 130-ish miles from San Francisco. Never heard of it? Or maybe you heard a neighbor talk about going up to the cabin in Pine Mountain Lake for years, but never went yourself. You are in for a family friendly vacation treat. Rent a whole house on or near the private lake. Too much to mention here's the official site link www.pinemountainlake.com Many local real estate agencies in the area, Groveland CA, handle vacation rentals. You may want to buy your own when you get there! Get tired of the Main Marina Beach, well then just take the water taxi to the other 2 sandy beaches or the Fisherman's Cove.

Please tell us about Family Friendly Vacations in your area. Tips on packing the car. Yes, don't forget the Nintendo Wii.
